Framing machine usage
Operation notes, maintenance intervals, and productivity tips for XKY joining, cutting, and line equipment in daily factory use.
Selection guide
Find the right machine for your output
Match daily frame volume and moulding mix to underpinner tier, stack cutting, and bench tools.
- ≤150 frames/day → NN400 class
- 150–400 frames/day → NN500 / NN600
- 400+ frames/day → NN700 or NN300 cut-and-join
- Cut-and-join backbone → NN300 + NC600
Throughput recommendations
| Daily target | Joining | Cutting | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| ≤150 frames | NN400 | CT300 / CT400 | Mixed custom sizes, pneumatic reliability |
| 150–400 | NN500 / NN600 | NC500 | Plate clamp for wide profiles; CNC recipes |
| 400–600 | NN700 PRO | NC600 | Highest joins/minute; 150 mm width envelope |
| 600+ backbone | NN300 + conveyor | NC600 stack | Quad-angle; low-supervision joining |

Maintenance essentials
- Daily: air pressure check (0.6–0.8 MPa nominal), magazine nail count, blade visual inspect.
- Weekly: lubricate per manual, clean dust extraction paths on saws.
- Quarterly: alignment verification on mitre fences; driver anvil wear inspection.
Mouldings over 100 mm wide need plate-clamp systems (NN500 / NN700) to prevent gapped corners on heavy profiles.
Bench tools
Hand tools complement production lines: corner clamps, mitre mates, and calibration gauges for field setup. Use OEM blades and V-nails sized to your substrate — third-party consumables may raise jam rates.
